We use Kickstarter to fund focused work on BEAM tools we maintain. These campaigns bring together developers, researchers and enthusiasts to support concrete improvements, from build automation in Rebar4 to embedded hardware like GRiSP 2 and GRiSP Nano.

Kickstarter campaigns give us time to work on the parts of our tools that are hard to fund from client projects alone. Backers help shape priorities, and in return the BEAM community gets better-maintained tools that stay useful over the long term.
